Born and raised right outside of Chicago, Julia has a passion for helping survivors of domestic violence. Julia graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University, where she wrote her Master's thesis on the dangers of abusers using spyware apps for stalking. She strives to use advertising and digital marketing for good to help survivors learn about the resources available to them.
